Quantity Surveying (Level 9, Master of Science)
This programme aims to create specialists capable of understanding inter-related issues of Quantity Surveying and Sustainability. The programme will enable the learner to specialise in one of three aspects of Quantity Surveying, namely, sustainable public building, sustainable civil engineering and sustainable mechanical & electrical engineering. The programme aims to position graduates to capitalise on the growing employment opportunities presented through the Government Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF)
The programme covers topics such as Sustainable Development in Public Buildings, Procurement and Tendering, Cost Planning, Risk and Safety Management etc. and also provides the opportunity to gain specific knowledge on a topic through a Thesis or Applied Research Project.
Students will be assessed by means of assessments and examinations. Students will also be required to produce a thesis or applied research project.
