HRM and Diversity in Social Care & Not for profits

Aims

The focus of this module is to explore the key human resource management factors involved in supervising employees and volunteers in social care, voluntary, non -profit and other public bodies in Ireland, as well as how this relates to broader contemporary issues in Diversity. Overall the module is designed to promote understanding in regard to the practical application of human resource management in dealing with the planning, recruiting, selecting, motivating and evaluating employees, volunteers and managers.

Entry Requirements

It would be expected that applicants would be working in the field of social care in either voluntary, non-profit or public bodies in Ireland.  A Level 8 award in a relevant area would be of benefit.
