HRM and Diversity in Social Care & Not for profits

Aims

The focus of this module is to explore the key human resource management factors involved in supervising employees and volunteers in social care, voluntary, non -profit and other public bodies in Ireland, as well as how this relates to broader contemporary issues in Diversity. Overall the module is designed to promote understanding in regard to the practical application of human resource management in dealing with the planning, recruiting, selecting, motivating and evaluating employees, volunteers and managers.

Entry Requirements

As this is a Level 9 Single Subject Certificate applicants would be expected to have a Level 8 award in Social Care or equivalent. Alternatively applicants who demonstrate extensive experience in the relevant field, combined with relevant academic qualifications will be considered for the course.

Qualification
